The Mob's Seattle Game Day

Don Muster: She'll tell you where to go and love it. Just don't say, "Muster?!?! I hardly even know her!"
The Mob runs its Game Days on the second Saturday of every month at Genesis Games and Gizmos, in the Bella Bottega Shopping Plaza in Redmond. Most of the events played are RPGA sanctioned tournaments, however not all of them are. We like to try to vary our portfolio of games as you, the players, let us know what you want to play.

The Game Day is broken up into two rounds:

The first round starts at 10:30am and runs until 3:00pm.
The second round runs from 4:00pm and ends at 8:00pm.

New schedules for the gameday come out on the 4th Sunday of the month at 6:00 pm. Slot sign up is closed 3 days before the gameday (Wednesday). We ask that judges sign up Sunday before the gameday and send an email to the group if you need to cancel. This is used to try and accurately assess the number of judges needed. This does not guarantee you a game.

To sign up for events at the Game Day, visit the Muster website.

The RPGA Events Calendar or the Mob's Yahoo! Group also have more information.

Finally, we do request a $3.00 donation per slot or $5.00 donation per day from everyone playing our events. This helps us pay for the printer costs of the Living Greyhawk adventure certs, startup packets for new players, and other Mob events.

IMPORTANT ON-SITE REGISTRATION/SIGN UP INFORMATION

The Mob's Club Meetings
The Mob runs its meetings on the fourth Sunday of every month. We meet at the same place we play: Genesis Games and Gizmos in Redmond.

The Club Meetings are where we conduct the business of The Mob and plan our involvement in the conventions in the region. Almost every time, we run games here, too; these games are usually an early run of the module we'll have at our Game Days, giving our judges a chance to play in the event before they run it - these events are generally for Judges only. If you're interested in being an active member of The Mob, you'd best come to some of these meetings to see What Really Goes On™.

Games Played At Mob Events

Dungeons & Dragons

  • D&D 3E and AD&D Classic Events
  • D&D 3E Living Greyhawk Events
  • D&D 3E Living Force Events
  • D&D 3E Living Arcanis Events
  • D&D 3E Living Kalamar

Other Game Systems

  • Legends of Erde
  • Call of Cthulhu

Shadowrun is also played in the area.
Slot 0's
Slot 0's are for the purpose of allowing people to play the module who are judges for other modules or who are going to be judging at the gameday.
If you sign up for a slot zero, it is implicit that you are planning on running a module at the next SeattleMob Gameday and would like to:
  • a) play the module before you run it
  • b) play this module because you\'re running a different module scheduled at the same time
  • c) you usually run modules for the SeattleMob and happen to not be running a module this gameday but would be willing to fill in if necessary.
If you do not fulfill the previous requirements, you are not eligible to participate in the slot 0. This is sometimes modified by the need to have 4 players at a table.
